A state-of-the-art RD system provides two-way information sharing in real-time along brand and sales lines that are shared by the field, then collected and analysed. This comprehensive system allows for real-time decision making and is supported by an integrated ERP system and SAP, backed by MIS analytics and BI tools with principal access and visibility.
All of this ensures that quality of products can be monitored and managed from the arrival of shipments into Sri Lanka until they reach the final sales points.
We also maintain a state-of-the-art warehousing facility in close proximity to both the Colombo International Airport and the Colombo Port with an area of over 40,000 square feet. Our warehousing facility provides:

Hemas Pharmaceuticals maintains the largest network of strategic distribution hubs across Sri Lanka. These hubs meet the highest quality standards and are able to ensure the constant availability of pharmaceuticals and associated products to the final sales points. Our experienced and efficient in-house shipment handling team handles all our shipments to ensure timely clearance and entry into our distribution network, whilst ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained. When working with us, there is little no risk of negative impacts to quality due to poor shipment handling or clearance delays.
The hemas group is on the latest SAP S4 HANA system and all critical systems are cloud based, enabling the technology teams to be nimble and support business needs in minimum time
The sales network is ‘connected’ and integrated to our backend ERP system. Field staff have information at their fingertips and field information is relayed to the distributors and head-office in real-time. This data rich eco system drives analytics that enable visibility and drives decision making
Our state-of-the-art warehousing facility at Spectra is augmented with a fully-fledged Warehouse Management System (WMS). This allows us to achieve very high operational efficiency, while meeting all industry standards as well as specific requirements for environmental conditions for storage, along with streamlined management of storage constraints and expiry criteria.
